The Scoreband Pulse rangefinder is a great device for the money spent and is similar in quality to a lot of its pricier competition.
Warning! The Scoreband Pulse Rangefinder is not for the fancy, the everyday golfer or the tournament player. It is simply a brilliant, inexpensive device for the leisure and occasional golfer. If you are looking for a rangefinder with all the bells and whistles, you won’t find it with the Scoreband Pulse Rangefinder. What you will find is a great device for the money spent. I love it and it suits my needs perfectly when I am out on the course.
The Scoreband Pulse rangefinder is compact and lightweight with high quality performance for everything you need to score low.
This device is accurate +/- 1 Yard. It has a 400-yard general range and 250 yards to the flag. You have the option of measuring in options of yards or meters. I have been off just a couple of times as far as accuracy goes with this one, but Its hard to tell if it was the device or just my crappy game! I am still quite a novice.
The Scoreband Pulse is water resistant, weighs about 150 grams and is 4”x 3” x1.5” in size. Sleek and practical, it isn’t a show off. Many of the other devices I have come in contact with have a ton of features but it almost seems too complicated. If you like a simple, accurate device…this is it.
The scan mode on the Scoreband Pulse Rangefinder is brilliant. This mode picks up with closest object so you get your measurements fast. It also has a Vibrate Mode in addition to that. You can choose from General mode or Flag Lock mode which is what helps me out the most! It has a crosshair/flag lock display which make things a lot easier as well.
Ease of Use
The 6x magnification makes it easy to see your target. It is pretty clear too. I have not had any issues with clarity although it does require a steady hand due to lack of significant zoom. It’s a good size so easy to carry around and I love that it will shut off on its own so I wont waste its energy. Not to mention the low battery indicator if I do get close. It comes with a CR2 3-volt battery and includes its own carrying case and cleaning cloth for the lens.
The Scoreband Pulse Rangefinder is compact and lightweight with high quality performance for everything you need to score low. It is well worth the price and can be comparable to many of the costlier competition. So, I say save your money, buy this rangefinder and use that extra cash for some on-course beverages and a new set of clubs!
